Next up on our list of Well-Heeled ladies is a controversial figure – This lass is owner and director of a highly successful Sydney based PR firm which she established at the ripe old age of 24. She is also an author of two semi-fictional novels based around her industry. A married mother of two children, one of which has her own highly successful Instagram career based around children’s fashion. Our Well-Heeled figure has been publicly labelled a narcissist and has been given a media beating due to her ruthless stunts which have continued to place her company and clients in the spotlight. The paparazzi love her though as she’s always impeccably groomed and is a self confessed lover of all things designer. Her shoes of course are fabulous. Thoughts anyone? The award goes to Roxy Jacenko!
If there’s one thing you can say about Roxy, it’s that she has staying power. And the narcissist thing? Maybe? We don’t know her personally but we do know that if Roxy was a man we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. The male form of Roxy would be applauded on his fine business acumen and ongoing dedication to his work to achieve results at all costs. Somehow, if women behave ruthlessly in business they are perceived as power hungry with behavioural issues that negatively affect their overall femininity. This is something that society hasn’t yet learnt – Women can and are highly successful in business and multitask better than any man will ever be able to do. It has been clinically proven! We can do all this and still be feminine.
