It’s official… I am in love with this shoe! I know that it’s 38 degrees outside ladies and it’s a winter boot, but it’s on sale and you can wear it inside in the air conditioning!. I’m talking about this week’s shoe of the week. Scanlan Theodore’s Wrap Ankle Boot 9.5
I haven’t actually touched this beautiful baby in my own hands but the way that leather is ruching I am suspecting that the leather is quite possibly goats leather or something very similar. This means that it’s going to be really soft. Goats leather is commonly used for the lining of footwear because of its softness which ultimately means comfort to the foot. Why else do we love this shoe?
- The ankle tie will assist in keeping it on the foot without the toes having to claw. This is a common problem with mules. There is no decorative stitching around the toes, so they should be very comfortable on the forefoot even if you have retracted toes as the leather is soft and the ruching allows for a little extra give.
- The heel elegantly tapers in slightly so it sits centrally under the heel of the foot. This too will improve the comfort of the shoe. The heel is quite high though so for improved comfort with the use of TWH”s A1-Original High Heel Corrector.
The wrap boot is also available in black but the burgundy is very special. If you are lucky enough to get a pair of these boots, why not buy an investment piece for yourself for Winter. You’ll be thankful you did when June comes around.
Happy Shopping ladies.
Until next time!
