Stop everything ladies! You have to take a moment to look at these boots that Mimco have released. The Prowess Ankle Boot jumped off the page this morning as we are in a boot mood due to all of this rain. But…..then we saw the heel. The panther head was apparently due to an inspirational look at Grace Jones from the 80’s. Who doesn’t love a bit of “Slave to the River!” And those green stone eyes just sealed the deal. The Prowess boot is retailing for $299 and is also available in a mule. Here’s why we love it.
Apart from the spectacular feature heel, the height sits at a very comfortable midi. Perfect for wearing for extended periods of time. The toe is tapered which adds to the sleekness of the boot. There doesn’t appear to be any stitching which is very helpful in providing comfort to the toes. We would suggest that you ensure that the widest part of your foot sits at the widest part of the shoe. For some of you that will mean going up ½ size to ensure a correct fit and improved comfort. You will benefit from a A1-Original High Heel Corrector to fill out any excess room and increase the overall comfort of the forefoot.
If you opt for the mule version-which is also an amazing looking shoe, you would benefit from the A1-Original High Heel Corrector as well. This would reduce any forward slide in the shoe and reduce clawing of the toes which often happens in a mule.
