HELP + FAQs
What size do I need?
All TWH products are one size fits all.
Our A1-High Heel Corrector has been designed to fit most feet. For very small feet (smaller than size AU4/EU35) we would suggest trimming the product slightly to enable a comfortable fit in the shoe. For very large feet, the product may still be used with benefit.
Will I need a larger shoe when using TWH products?
TWH products are designed to fit seamlessly into all correctly sized shoes, and without altering the fit or appearance. If you intend to use the product in a dress sandal, you may need to trim the product edges to ensure it remains invisible. We advise against using TWH products in shoes that are already too small as it may cause irritation or injury.
What is your returns policy?
Due to the nature and intended use of The Well-Heeled (TWH) products we cannot accept returns or exchanges for hygiene purposes.

How do I clean my TWH product?
Our products are designed using high quality polyurethanes (gel or PORON) which will soften with use. Dirt or oil on the foot will discolour the products, however they will still be fully functional for many uses.
To clean A1 on the adhesive surface, simply use a damp cloth and wait for it to dry before reapplying to the foot or shoe. If you wish to clean the suede surface, use a damp soapy cloth and clean gently. Allow to dry thoroughly before reuse.
A2-A4 should not require cleaning however if you feel you need to, simply use a damp cloth on the surface of the product. A2-A4 are not designed to be removed and reapplied as there will be a reduction in the adhesive.
How do I remove the product from my shoe?
A1, A3 and A4 are easily removed by gently peeling the product away from the shoe.
TWH’s A2-Heel Cup Corrector has a strong 3M adhesive, designed to keep A2 firmly in place in an area of shoes prone to movement. If you wish to remove A2 for use in another shoe we advise gently and slowly removing the product, with the help of an adhesive remover if required, to avoid damaging the heel cup of the shoe.
How long do TWH products last?
TWH products are made using high quality polyurethane (PU) materials, designed to withstand repetitive in-shoe use.
A1-3: Left in place these products (including adhesive backing) should easily last up to 20 uses.
Our A1-High Heel Corrector will last even longer if left in place in one shoe. Cleaning the adhesive side of the product and changing it between shoes after every use will decrease the lifespan of the adhesive on the product.
A4: TWH Shoe Relief Strips are a single use item and we recommend replacing them after each use. However if you love A4 and wish to afix it permanently in shoe you can do so using the method below.
PRO TIP: If the adhesiveness of any of the products decreases and you wish to keep the product permanently in the shoe, we advise using a very small amount of super glue or strong fabric glue to secure the product in place. Please be aware that removal of the product following the use of permanent glues may damage the lining of the shoe.
For best results we recommend replacing the product with a new TWH product at first sign of wear or damage.
I have sweaty feet. Can I still use TWH products?
Absolutely! TWH products are designed for all feet. However if you are prone to sweaty feet we recommend alternating your shoes to enable adequate drying time between uses. If the product becomes sticky on the top surface due to excess sweating, we suggest a light application of talcum or corn powder on the top surface of the product only. Application of these powders on the sticky side will remove the adhesive which is required to stick on the shoe.
Can men use TWH products?
Absolutely! Our products are designed to solve fitting and comfort issues with all footwear. Even men’s footwear! All products are suitable for use in flat shoes and men’s shoes alike.
If you are a man and you like wearing a high heel – even more power to you! You will still enjoy the benefits of more cushioning from our A1-High Heel Corrector. We plan to explore increased sizes of A1 in the future.
Are my credit card details safe?
TWH takes online security very seriously and as such we use Stripe as our payment gateway service. Stripe is PCI Level I encrypted so all transactions are protected from a potential data breach. What this means is that TWH does not store any of your credit card details nor does our server. All transactions are processed through Stripe externally and transmitted using indecipherable code.
Currently Stripe is more secure than Paypal as payments made with Paypal still go through individual site servers before being stored in Paypal’s vault.
Please visit our online payment security page for more information.
Will TWH products damage my shoe?
TWH’s A1, A3 and A4 are made with high grade polyurethane gel with reusable adhesive. These products should peel off easily from your shoes and without damage to the lining or leather of the shoe.
Our A2-Heel Cup Corrector is lined with 3M adhesive to provide greater sticking power, which is required around the heel cup of a shoe to prevent the pad moving or edges rolling as the foot moves in and out. It is ideally designed to stay in place in one shoe. If you wish to remove the product for use in another shoe we suggest removing it slowly and carefully, with the use of an adhesive remover if required.
Although TWH cannot guarantee there will be no damage to shoe materials from the adhesive on our products, all effort has been made to minimise this and allow for easy application and removal without peeling away shoe material or otherwise causing damage.
